This Saturday, 2nd December, sees the the last of our XC races in 2023, the West District XC Championships, which will be held at the home XC Course of East Kilbride AC – Kirklandpark Playing Fields in Strathaven.

Meeting Arrangements
Can I please ask for all the Athletes to meet at the Club Tent at least 60mins before their event to pick up their numbers.
Please note: There is absolutely no parking on Lethame Road, as it is very narrow in places, or at the entrance road and carpark at Kirklandpark School, which is reserved for Officials only or for tent drop-off. Please refer to the Course Map for parking recommendations and please remember to park responsibly. 🙏🏻😊

@ Athletes – What to Bring with You
The current weather forecast looks perfect XC race conditions and we will have the Club Tent with us to leave your Club Clothing whilst you are running. Can I please ask all Athletes to please make sure you have the following with you:
– Club Vest, Shorts and four pins;
– Long sleeved Top, Club hoodie, and Joggies;
– Hat, gloves, warm Jacket and trousers and towel;
– Running Flats + Trail Shoes/ Spikes;
– Black bin bag to put your race clothing and running shoes into after the race
– Snack with a non fizzy isotonic drink.
