This year’s LAAA Track & Field Championships will take place on Sunday 10th September at the home of Shettleston Harriers, Crownpoint Sports Complex, which will be hosted by Whitemoss AC, Motherwell AC and Shettleston Harriers.
A special thanks to our Club Board for kindly collectively agreeing to pay for all our Athlete entries.

With just under 500 Athletes confirmed to take part in this year’s event, we have the 48 Club Athletes entered taking part in over 100 events, with the complete list of entries found here.

The following Club Coaches have kindly agreed to be Team Managers on the day, who will have their Athlete Numbers – there will be no need for the Athletes to declare:
U13 Boys & Girls – Julie Alison
U15 Boys & Girls – Lynsey Cooper
U17’s+ & U11’s – Angela McCafferty
To ensure Athletes don’t miss their events, can I please ask all Athletes to make sure you have picked up your numbers at least 45mins before your event – thanks!
Logistics – Getting to Crownpoint, Weather Forecast & What the Athletes Need to Bring
For those that have never been to Crownpoint before, directions from Cumbernauld to Crownpoint Sports Complex can be found here.
The current forecast is looking a wee bit mixed however warm, can I please ask all the Athletes to ensure they have the following with them in their bag:
– Club Vest
– Club T-shirt
– 8 x pins
– Club Hoodie
– Light Showerproof Jacket
– Shorts/ Leggings (whatever the Athlete is comfortable competing in)
– Bottoms/ leggings (for in between events)
– bottle of water, pack lunch (if planning to be there most of the day)
