The last of the 2022 National Indoor Championships saw a large number of our club athletes take part, and it was a fitting end to the season with lots of great results and National medals!
U13
Rory took part in the 60m where he ran a PB of 8.99 to come 3rd in his heat which qualified him for the final where he came 7th with a time of 9.05. He also took part in the Long Jump where he jumped a fantastic PB of 4.20m to finish 5th overall. Well done Rory!
Jemma took part in the 800m, where she came 3rd in the heat with a great time of 2:29.86 to come third. This qualified her for the final, where she came a fantastic 7th overall in a time of 2:32.65. Well done Jemma!
Emily did really well in ten Long Jump with huge jump of 4.24m. She narrowly missed out on a medal, coming 4th overall on count back. Well done on your performance Emily!
U15
Ava C did the 60m, where she came 7th in her heat with a great PB of 9.10. Well done Ava!
Niah took part in the 200m where she ran a PB of 28.39 to come 3rd in here heat, which qualified her for the semi final. In the semi, she ran another fantastic PB of 27.89 to come 4th. Well done Niah!
Laya did the 300m, where she came 3rd in her heat with a PB time of 46.30. Well done Laya!
Ava D started with the 300m, where she ran a fantastic PB of 48.97 to come 6th in her heat. She then took part in the 60 hurdles, where she came 6th overall in a time of 11.88. Well done Ava!
Chloe also took part in the 60 hurdles, where she ran a great SB of 10.50 to come 6th in her heat. Well done Chloe!
Niamh was great in the 3k shot put, where she scored a PB of 8.84 to come a fantastic 4th overall. Well done Niamh!
U20
William P did really well in both the 60m and the 200m, making the final in both. 60m – 7.29 (PB) 3rd in heat, 7.24 (PB) 4th in semi, 7.28 6th in final. 200m – 23.70 1st in heat, 22.98 (PB) 2nd in heat, 23.22 5th in final. Well done William!
William B ran a time of 8.06 in the 60m to come 5th in his heat. He followed this up with a huge PB of 9.71 in the shot put, on only his third ever outing with the 6kg shot. Well done William!
Hannah started off the weekend in the 60m, where she was 4th in her heat in a time of 8.30, qualifying her for the semi where she ran a PB of 8.24. Then she took part in the 60 hurdles, where she ran a new PB of 9.23 to win a SILVER medal. Well done Hannah!
Euan took part in the 60 hurdles, where he ran a great PB of 9.16 to finish 4th overall. Well done Euan!
Amy ran a time of 9.24 in the 60 hurdles to win a BRONZE medal, and then threw a huge PB of 14.15 in the shot put to win a GOLD medal and to go top of the UK shot put rankings. Well done Amy!

Luke ran a great time of 2:04.95 to come 4th in his heat of the 800m. Well done Luke!
Calum continued his great season by winning his heat in a time of 50.08, and then running a SB of 49.59 to win a SILVER medal in the final. Well done Calum!
