This weekend was the first National Indoor Championships since covid started, and it was great to be back! Particularly great to see a strong turn-out of U17 athletes all enjoying the event!
Here are the results from the day:
U17s
60m
Kayla ran 8.63 in the heat and a SB of 8.52 in the semi-final.
Grace ran 8.30 in the heat, then a PB of 8.07 in the semi-final, and then an equal PB of 8.07 to come 4th in the Final.
Ben ran a SB of 8.51 in his heat.
Connor ran a PB of 8.24 in his heat.
Logan ran a PB of 8.06 in his heat.
Patrick ran a PB of 7.84 in his heat, and another PB of 7.76 in the semi-final.
60H
Kaela ran a PB of 10.06 in her hurdles heat.
200m
Logan ran a PB of 25.25 in the heat to qualify for the semi final where he ran a time of 25.94.
Connor ran a SB of 26.20 in his heat.
Patrick ran a PB of 25.26 to qualify for the semi final where he ran a time of 25.83.
300m
Sophie ran a PB of 52.94 in her heat.
400m
Finn ran a PB of 58.70 in his heat.
800m
Rebekah ran a time of 2:34.01 in her heat.
Grant ran a PB of 2:06.09 in his heat, narrowly missing out on the final.
High Jump
Finn jumped 1.59m to finish 5th overall.

U20s

Amy won a Silver medal in the Senior Women’s shot put with 12.87m, and came 5th overall in the Senior hurdles final.

Seniors

Callum ran a PB of 8.29 in his 60m heat and followed this up with a time of 26.90 in his 200m heat.
Emily ran a SB time of 59.43 in her first Senior 400m.
Kieran jumped 12.85m to come 5th overall in the Triple Jump.
