This Saturday sees the competitive Summer Track & Field Season come to an end with the National Relay Championships, , which will be held at ON-X Sports Facility in Linwood – the home of Kilbarchan AC..
We did originally have 10 Teams attending however this has been reduced to 7 due to a couple of Club Athletes testing positive with Covid and all at the Club hope they all make a speedy recovery and are back to their usual happy selves soon.

Over the past weeks that Club Coaches have done a great job prepping those Athletes that will be attending and the Athletes that will be representing the Club are as follows along with the Team Managers that will be looking after each team:

Can I please ask all Club Athletes to remember to bring the following:
– Club Vest
– Spikes (or flats)
– Showerproof Jacket
– Water & Snack for after your race
– 8 x safety pins

For those attending tomorrow, please find enclosed a copy of the final Timetable. For those Club Athletes in Lynsey and Julie’s Relay Teams you have all been advised when to arrive at Linwood, can I please ask all other Club Athletes to be at Linwood 90mins before your event.

Travel Information
For those that haven’t been to the ON-X Track facility in Linwood, directions by car from Cumbernauld can be found here.
As the M8 still has roadwork restrictions, guidance would be to use M73/M74 rather than the M80.
