In the last of the age group championships up in Aberdeen this weekend, it was the turn of our u13, u15 and u20 athletes to shine! And with a medal total of 15 and lots of other PB performances our club athletes rose to the occasion!
Saturday
U15s
Grace – 1st in her heat of the 100m with 13.05, 2nd in her semi with 12.87 comfortably qualifying for the final where she won a BRONZE medal in a time of 12.88!

Kayla -4th in her heat of the 100m with a PB of 13.68 and 4th in her semi with another PB of 13.66! Then in the 200m, she came 5th in her heat in a time of 29.63.
Connor – came 4th in his heat of the 100m with a PB of 12.69, following this up with a PB in the 200 of 25.81!
Ben – came 6th in his heat of the 100m in a time of 13.27
Rebekah – came 6th= in her heat of the 300m in a time of 45.94, which she then followed up with a PB in the Long jump of 3.88m
Grant – came 6th in his heat of the 800m with a new PB of 2:17.12.
Finn – came 3rd in his heat of the 300m with a PB of 42.75 to qualify for the final where he came 6th with another PB of 42.62. He then followed this up with a big PB in the High Jump of 1.59m which earned him a BRONZE medal!
Kaela – came 2nd in her heat of the 75H with a time of 12.80 . qualifying her for the final where she came 4th in a time of 12.60. She then came 5th in the Long Jump with a PB of 4.54m.
Logan – won GOLD in the Javelin with a PB of 43.29m!

U20s
William – came 3rd in his heat of the 200m with a PB of 23.16, qualifying for the final where he ran another PB of 23.24!
Amy – jumped 1.62m in the High Jump to win a BRONZE medal!
SUNDAY
U13s
Niah – came 5th in her heat of the 100m with a time of 14.05, qualifying for the semi-final where she came 5th in a time of 13.94. She then came 2nd in her heat of the 200m with a time of 29.06, and then came 5th in the semi with a time of 29.49.
Ava C – came 5th in her heat of the 100m in a time of 14.46.
Alex – came 7th in her heat of the 100m in a time of 15.12. Then she ran a PB time of 13.46 in the 70H!
Rory – came 3rd in his heat of the 100m in a time of 14.81. He then followed this up with a big PB of 29.04 in the Javelin to win a BRONZE medal!
Jemma – came 5th in the 800m in a time of 2:29.90.
Chloe – jumped a PB of 3.55 in the Long Jump. She then ran a PB time of 12.27 in the 70H to qualify with ease for the final where she won a BRONZE medal with another PB of 12.34!
Ava D – ran a PB time of 13.43 in the 70H to qualify for the final, where ran another PB time of 13.42! She then also took part in the High jump where she jumped 1.17m.
Lucy – came 5th= in the High jump with a height of 1.22m, following this with a PB throw of 14.50 in the Discus!
Angus – threw a big PB of 10.22m in the Shot Put which earned him the GOLD medal!
Jessica – threw a PB of 24.58m in the Discus to win Gold, and the also threw well in the Javelin with 24.58 to earn her a SECOND GOLD medal!

Emily – jumped 3.88m in the Long jump, and followed this up with a great PB of 19.29 in the Javelin to win a BRONZE medal!
Niamh – threw a PB of 16.60 in the Discus to come 5th overall, and she then followed this up with a great throw of 7.94m to win the GOLD medal!

U20s
William- came 3rd in his heat of the 100m in a time of 11.51, narrowly missing out on the final.
Alasdair – ran a time of 4:00.80 in the 1500m to win a SILVER medal!
Amy – added to her Bronze from the Saturday by wining SILVER in Discus with a PB throw of 35.97, and then winning GOLD in the shot put with a PB throw of 13.02!
Hannah – came 5th in Long Jump with a jump of 5.25m, and then ran a PB time of 15.60 to win BRONZE in the 100H!
A huge well done to you all from all the coaches at the club!
