Last weekend saw some of our club athletes make a welcome return to competition and there were some great results!
Firstly, Calum and Grace travelled down to Manchester for their first ever English Track & Field Championships, both having done well just to meet the entry standard!
Grace ran well in the U15W 100m to finish 4th in her heat, with a time of 12.67, narrowing missing out on the final.
Calum finished 3rd in his heat of the U17M 400m to qualify for the final, where he won Bronze ? with a time of 50.25. Well done from all the club coaches!

Next up, Alasdair, Alicia, Amy and Kieran were selected to compete for the Jaguars at the National Athletic League in Wigan where they all did well despite the wind and rain!

Amy Shot – 12.05m, 100H – 15.46, Discus – 33.49, High Jump – 1.55
Kieran 100m – SB of 11.89, Triple Jump – 11.68

Meanwhile, there were also some great performances at the Meadowmill and Livingston open graded events.
Jemma 200m – PB of 30.42  and 800m – PB of 2:30.97
Stephen 1500 – SB of 4:18.32
Kayla 100m – 14.11 and 200m – 29.98
Emily 100m – 13.99
Rebekah 300m – 47.61
Allan 800m – PB of 2:05.85
