This weekend, it was the turn of our U13, U15 and U20 athletes to take part in their Indoor National Championships. We had a record-breaking 24 athletes taking part, including 3 athletes stepping up to a higher age group!
U13 Girls
Ava was 5th in her hurdles heat and 5th in her 200m heat with a PB, well done Ava!
Alex had PBs in hurdles, 200m and shot put, well done Alex!
Niah had great attempts in hurdles and high jump, well done Niah!
Jessica had a PB in 60m and a big PB in shot put, well done Jessica!
Laya was 6th in her 800m heat with a PB, well done Laya!
Millie finished in the top ten in the High Jump, well done Millie!
U15 Girls
Kaela qualified for the semi-final of the 60 hurdles, well done Kaela!
Kayla qualified for the semi-final of the 60m, and had PBs in 60m, 200m and Shot Put (3k), well done Kayla!
Zara had a PB in the 60m, well done Zara!
Mia had a PB in the 300m, well done Mia!
Rebekah had PBs in the 1500m and long jump, well done Rebekah!
Grace qualified for the 60m final where she won a BRONZE medal with a great PB! Well done Grace!
Under 20 Women
Hannah qualified for the final of the 60 hurdle, well done Hannah!
Amy came 5th in shot put with a PB in the 4k category, well done Amy!
U13 Boys
Sam made the final of the 60m where he came 6th with a PB, and qualified for the semi-final of the 200m, well done Sam!
Richard had PBs in the semi-finals of the 60m and the 200m, and came 5th overall in the High Jump, well done Richard!
U15 Boys
Connor had PBs in the 60m and the 200m, well done Connor!
Conor had PBs in the 60m and Long Jump, well done Conor!
Ben had PBs in the 60m and the 200m, well done Ben!
Noah just missed out on qualification for the final of the 800 but ran a strong race, well done Noah!
Finn had a PB in the 200m and a great attempt in the High Jump, well done Finn!
U20 Men
Reuben qualified for the semi-final of the 200m with a PB, and also ran a PB in the 800m, well done Reuben!
Calum just missed qualification for the final of the 800m but ran a very strong race, well done Calum!
Luke finished 9th overall in a strong Long Jump competition, well done Luke!
Congratulations to you all, all your coaches are very proud!
