This Saturday, 26th October, sees one of the biggest Cross Country races in the Cross Country Calendar in Scotland – National Cross Country Relays, which will take place at our very own Cumbernauld House 🙂
Team Selection
We will have 26 Club Athletes taking part this year from Junior up to Masters 🙂 Angela McCafferty has kindly agreed to be the Team Manager for the event – primarily for the Junior Athletes 🙂
Event Timetable, Course Layout and Final Logistics
A copy of the final timetable can be found here, can I please ask all the Athletes to be at the Club Tent at least 40 mins before their race starts, which will be pitched close to the Start/ Finish Line.

@ Athletes – What to Bring with You
The current weather forecast looks perfect race conditions, please can you make sure you have the following with you:
– Club Vest, Shorts and four pins;
– Long sleeved Top, Club hoodie, and joggies;
– Hat, Showerproof Jacket and trousers and gloves;
– XC Spikes (if using spikes, remember to change the size of your spikes from track to XC) or Trail Shoes;
– Black bin bag to put your race clothing and spikes into, which your parents will thank you for 😉
– Pack lunch for after with a non fizzy isotonic drink.
