Well done to all the Athletes who represented the Club at yesterdays National Relay Championships up at Pitreavie in the 4x100m & 3x800m, all put in great performances, which was great to watch unfold.

Up first was the U13 Girls in the 4x100m (Kaela Senior, Grace Young, Rebekah Lawman and Katie Walker) – great changeovers throughout and came a fantastic 2nd in their heat.

The U15 Boys (Euan Wallace, Adam Atkinson, Jaipreet Singh and Andrew Carus) also competing in the 4x100m followed in a tough heat, cleanly passing the baton all the way round coming in a respectable 4th.

Last but not least the U17 Men (Alasdair McMonagle, Reuben MacIntyre and Calum MacKenzie) in the 3x800m, which was run as a timed final. All ran exceptionally well where they won there heat by a staggering 65m. Unfortunately there time was just short and came 5th overall.

Well done to you all 🙂

Special Thanks to Gillian Tobin, who over the past 3 weeks did a great job in all the relay prep with the teams on both Club nights and also a big thanks to Graeme Atkinson to in kindly helped with taking the U15 Boys back down the road – it was much appreciated 🙂
