This weekend was the last of the Scottish National Championships, and it saw our U17s and Seniors take to the stage. There were lots of PBs and great performances!
On Saturday, Luke and Reuben kicked off the day in the U17M Triple Jump.
Luke qualified for the final with a great jump of 11.87m, just short of his PB. Well done Luke!
Reuben also qualified for the final, with a fantastic PB jump of 12.02m. He then went on to run a great time of 2:09.87 in the U17M 800m heats. Well done Reuben!
Alasdair continued his recent good form by winning his heat of the U17M 800m in a great time of 2:06.65, seeing him comfortably through to the semi-final where he ran a superb PB time of 2:01.72, qualifying him for the final. In the final, he came 6th overall, with yet another PB time of 2:01.19. Well done Alasdair!
On the Sunday, Alicia also continued her current great form, running a superb PB time of 11:47.37 in the Senior Women 3000m steeplechase. This earned her a fantastic BRONZE medal! Well done Alicia!
Finally, Hannah qualified for the long jump final with a best jump of 5.02m. She then qualified for the 80mH final with a heat time of 12.89s, and in the final came 5th overall with a great time of 12.43s. Well done Hannah!
