This weekend was a busy one for our club with the National Indoor Masters, Combined Events and Relays taking place at the Emirates Arena.
There was lots of medal success for our Masters!
Sally won Bronze in the W50 60m
David P won Gold in the M40 400m
Alan won Gold in the M40 800m
Martin won Bronze in the M35 800m
David H won Bronze in the M45 800m and was 5th in the M45 1500m
Howard won Silver in the M50 800m and Silver in the M50 1500m
Paul won Bronze in the M50 1500m and was 4th in the M50 800m
Vincent came 5th in the M50 800m
Robert came 4th in the M40 1500m
Sean came 6th in the M50 1500m
Well done to all our Masters!
In the Relays, our U13 girls (Heather, Millie, Emma and Ava), U15 girls (Elise M, Elise G, Keri and Kayla), and U17 Men (Calum, James, Alasdair and Luke) all ran fantastic races!
But our Senior women’s team of Beth, Nikkala, Lauren and Hannah qualified for the final, and our Senior Men’s team of Owen, Jamie, Gary and Thomas won Bronze!
Well done to them all!
And finally, our Combined Eventers all did well, producing a number of PBs and great performances, with some of our athletes doing this event for the first time!
Well done to Finn (17th), Grant (11th), Logan (12th), Sam (15th), Grace (9th), Rebekah (28th), Amy (6th) and Hannah (9th).
