A Bit About the Event Itself
This event is open to all Club Athletes from U11 – U20 from Cumbernauld AAC, Airdire Harriers and Motherwell AC and gives them all an excellent opportunity to have their their first outdoor Track and Field event of the year 🙂

Entries are now closed, it’s great to see we have had a great response from all the Club Athletes from U11’s up to U20’s taking part this Sunday.

Just a reminder, each Club Athlete is allowed to compete in up to 3 events within their age categories, with medals for the overall top 3 Athletes in each of the events and the Team NL Shield for the best performing Club on the day up for grabs:

Travel Arrangements
Due to the number of Athletes who have indicated they would like to use Club Transport on their Club entry Forms, a mini bus has been arranged for the following Athletes:

The minibus will be leaving Broadwood Stadium at 08.30 and will be returning after the prize giving is finished.

For those making their own way there, the address is Wishaw Sports Complex,  Alexander St, Wishaw ML2 0HQ, can you please make sure you are there 90mins before you event 🙂

Please note the car park at Wishaw Sports Complex is expected to be busy on Sunday as there will also be a Gymnastics and Swimming Events on.

To All Athletes – What you Need to Bring
For the moment the weather forecast for Sunday is looking a bit mixed – we will have the Club Tent – however as there might be a bit of time between your events,  please make sure you bring the following:

– Pack lunch and water (fizzy juice and track & filed tend not to be a good combination :-))
– Club Vest/ Club T-Shirt
– 8 Safety Pins
– Warm long sleeved top & jogging bottoms
– Shower proof jacket, hat and gloves
– Spikes

As always we have had a great response from all of the Club Coaches, Officials and Parents to kindly help out with the event – with just a few areas to fill between – we will be all good to go – many thanks to you all 🙂

North Lanarkshire Team Selection (gentle reminder)
As discussed with all the Athletes at the Club, this event will also be used to select the U13, U15 and U17 North Lanarkshire Team to compete in this year’s Youth Development League, (YDL), Division 1 and U17 Challenge Cup.

Those who are overall 1st and 2nd in their events will be put forward for selection for the first YDL Meet at the end of April.

Please remember that the clocks go forward tonight 🙂
