Last Sunday, Team NL took another step closer to the YDL Scottish Final by finishing a fantastic 4th position in Meet 2 of Division 1.
Yet again there were a number of great performances from Club Athletes that represented Team NL and the following are just some notable highlights of the day:
Jamie Tobin: winning his second U15 Boys YDL HJ, equaling his PB 1.70m and just missing out on 1.72m.
Amy Kennedy: winning in the U13 Girls HJ in an excellent height of 1.35m.
Aimie Hendry & Hannah Wallace: with excellent 4.55m PB’s in the Long Jump.
Niamh Horbury: a great new PB of 7m15 in the U13 Girls Shot Put.
Craig Little: with a brilliant new 800m PB of 2.36.
Emily Miller: running a strong sprint double, winning the 200m and coming in 2nd in the 100m.
Jacob Brown: taking 11 seconds off his 1500m time with a great run of 4m56s
Alasdair McMonagle: running an excellent new 800m PB dipping under 2.10 with a time of 2.09.
Lucy Somerville: remained unbeaten in the Womans 800m with her 2nd YDL win of the year with a commanding performance throughout.
Beth Tobin & Sophie Hanlon: Both ran exceptionally well to win both A&B String in the 80m Hurdles
Beth Tobin: Womans 4x100m was a close competitive race with Team NL running out as winners over the last 10m.

The 3rd meet is on Sunday 19th June and will be held at Grangemouth, with the Team Selection due to take place this week.
