This Sunday, the club will travel to Grangemouth for the first match of this years Central and South of Scotland Athletics League. This is a new and exciting competition for the club and is an event which offers opportunities for all age groups from under 11s to masters (over 35s). Almost 80 athletes,coaches and officials from the club will make the journey
to Grangemouth, with the first event commencing at 1130 hours. We would ask that athletes travel to the event by car and care share where possible. In the event that you require transport , please contact Gary asap and we will coordinate this .
For those requiring transport, please note that we will meet and depart from Muirfield at 1000 hours and all athletes should aim to be at the venue for 1030 hours. If for any reason you will not be at Grangemouth for this time, please note that you must inform a coach/official and must be at the venue a minimum of one hour before your event.
We have been unable to select all athletes for the match so please inform a coach/official at the earliest opportunity if you are unable to make it. This will allow us sufficient time to offer an opportunity to compete to another athlete.
The club are also required to provide a number of officials/helpers for the event. Invariably this falls to the same familiar faces so if you are able to assist in any capacity on Sunday this would be most welcome.
