On Saturday eight Club Athletes were treated to near Summer conditions for this years National Cross Country Championships at Callendar Park in Falkirk, which was huge improvement of the gales and driving rain last year!

Competing on what was billed as the most challenging Cross Country course of this season all of our Club Athletes ran very well – well done to you all!

Times ran by the Athletes were as follows:

Niamh Horbury – running her first  Cross Country Race for the Club – great run well done!  (U13 – 3.2K): 17.41

Calum Little (U13 – 3.2K): 13.43

Alasdair McMonagle (u13 – 3.2K): unfortunately had to pull out due to an injury whilst being part of the leading pack for the first half of the course

Alicia Paton (U17 Woman – 4.2K): 23.18

Thomas Whiteford (U17 Men – 6.4K): 28.08

Victoria Robertson (U20 Woman – 6.4K):  24.37

Cameron Richardson (U20 Men – 8K): 29.08

Cliona Ferguson (Senior Woman – 8K): 38.10
